Greene Hills Manor - A Full Service Facility

The Manor is our primary, year-round retreat facility at Greene Hills.  Built in the Civil War Era, this magnificent facility has been beautifully preserved.  The original woodwork, hand painted murals, and unique style combine to provide guests with a warm and comfortable experience.

The Manor has a total of 38 beds on two floors.  The second floor is set up in a bed and breakfast style and has 14 beds in five rooms.  In addition to twin beds, three rooms have a queen size bed and two rooms have a full (double) bed.  These are our most elegant and spacious rooms, designed with adults in mind.  Three rooms have a private full bath and two rooms share a ¾ bath.

The third floor accommodates 24 people. The five bedrooms on this floor are ideal for youth and young adults.  Two rooms accommodate two people with twin beds.  Two additional rooms accommodate six people using three bunk beds, with an additional room accommodating eight people using four bunk beds.  There are three 3/4 baths.

Linen and towel service is available to all groups for an additional fee. If you opt for the No Linen Service, your group must bring their own bedding and towels.

General areas of The Manor's first floor include the dining room, the living room, the conference room, the library and the recreation room.  Either the living room or conference room can be reserved in advance individual group use by phoning (814) 669-4212.

Delicious meals are served family style by our fully-trained kitchen staff.  Meals and overnight accommodations can be added a la carte or selected from a variety of combination packages available.  Individual rooms are also available during the week and on select weekends.  Please ask about our Bed & Breakfast options when inquiring about individual rooms.

Family Campground and Recreational Vehicle Park

The Climbing Wall
Located in the barn, the 600 square foot wall is an exciting and challenging tool that often promotes increased unity within a group. The wall is 24’ in height and 36’ in length and the skill level can be modified, as needed, by the Greene Hills staff. Helmets and other safety equipment are provided as part of the cost and our staff facilitator must lead this activity. Groups may reserve use of the wall on an hourly basis for an hourly fee.  A minimum of 1 hour per 12 people should be allowed for a useful program to occur. Because this activity is held in the barn weather is not usually a factor.

The Barn
The barn offers a large multipurpose area that can be used for indoor group recreation, games, worship, or other activities.  It addition to the climbing wall, it also contains and basketball court, foursquare court, stage, large projector screen, and table games.  It is available free of charge for use by overnight groups at the Manor, or it can be rented by outside groups in a daily basis.

The food service staff prepares delicious meals for groups at the Manor and for large groups at the Summer Camp. Guests staying in The Manor will eat their meals in the dining room.   Accommodations for the dining room are limited to 45 persons.  Guests will be served family style at the tables.  Meals served at the Summer Camp are served buffet style. Meals will be eaten at the screened-in dining area.

Swimming Pool
When a Life Guard is employed by the camp and is on duty, the swimming pool may be reserved by groups by special arrangement.   During times when no Lifeguard is on duty, the pool may be used during specially designated times by individuals or families.  Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Pet Policy
No pets are permitted in any of the buildings, and must be on a leash at all times.  Owners will be held responsible for the behavior of their pets.  Greene Hills staff will not be responsible for cleaning up after your pets.
